“Not a Goodbye”; Jundy’s Touching Message Marks the Graduation of 105 MTs YKUI Maskumambang Students

Gresik, June 6, 2026 – Graduation is not the end of a journey, but rather the initial gateway to a broader chapter of life. This meaning was reflected in the Final Year Student Graduation for the 2025/2026 Academic Year, held by MTs YKUI Maskumambang at the Maskumambang Islamic Boarding School Hall.

A total of 105 ninth-grade students were officially graduated in a solemn and meaningful series of events, serving as a form of appreciation for their three-year educational struggle, as well as preparation to continue their education and achieve their dreams at the next level.

The event, which was held on Saturday (6/6/2026) for male students and Sunday (7/6/2026) for female students, was attended by all final-year students along with their parents or guardians. The presence of the guardians symbolized support and togetherness in escorting their children to complete an important period in their learning journey.

The Vice Principal of Academic Affairs of MTs-MA YKUI Maskumambang, Ustadz Mohammad Ibrahim, S.Pd., expressed his gratitude for the successful implementation of the graduation event. According to him, this event is a momentum felt not only by the students, but also by the parents and teachers who have accompanied their educational process.

“Alhamdulillah, today we have carried out the final year graduation ceremony for the grade IX students of MTs YKUI Maskumambang. The students were present along with their parents who accompanied the procession from morning until the end,” he explained.

According to Ustadz Ibrahim, the total number of students graduated this year is 105, consisting of 60 male students and 45 female students. An emotional atmosphere was deeply felt throughout the event, especially when the representative of the ninth-grade students, Jundy Muhammad Azri, delivered his impressions and messages in front of the teachers, parents, and his peers.

The graduation ceremony began with the recitation of the holy verses of the Al-Qur’an by a student representative. This was followed by remarks from the Head of the Madrasah and a career planning session, the reading of the Graduation Decree, the graduation procession, the delivery of messages and impressions from the students, remarks from student guardians, and concluded with a closing sermon (tausiyah) from the Leader of the Maskumambang Islamic Boarding School, K.H. Nidlol Masyhud, Lc., Dpl.

In his speech, Jundy Muhammad Azri expressed his gratitude and thanks to his parents, who have strived to provide the best education for their children at the Maskumambang Islamic Boarding School. He also expressed his deep gratitude to all the teachers who have guided, educated, and shaped the students’ character for three years.

“Heartfelt thanks to father and mother who have sent us to this best school. Thank you for all the support, sacrifices, and prayers that always accompany our steps,” said Jundy.

Jundy also reminisced about the three-year journey with his friends at MTs YKUI Maskumambang. According to him, the various experiences, laughter, struggles, and togetherness forged during their education will become precious, unforgettable memories.

He messaged all graduates to maintain their bond (silaturahmi) with teachers and friends, even though they will walk different paths of life in the future. “I do not say goodbye, because we separate not to leave one another, but to find our identity, gain knowledge, expand experience, and realize our dreams and hopes,”

“May we meet again in the future as the best versions of ourselves. Becoming individuals who are more mature, better, and have achieved our goals, dreams, and various forms of success,” he said.

The graduation of 105 MTs YKUI Maskumambang students in 2026 is an important momentum for the graduates to step into the next level of education. Equipped with the knowledge, morals, and Islamic values instilled during their studies at the madrasah and Islamic boarding school, the alumni are expected to become an educated generation with strong character, who bring benefits to religion, the nation, and society.
